September Menu Plan

Since starting to double cook & freeze meals, I decided I needed to get more organized to utilize the food we have in the fridge & freezer. At first, I was keeping a running total of what I had. Then, I splurged & ordered a “menu planning kit” on ETSY to help keep myself organized.

This is the result of my crazy morning planning for the month:
(items in purple are frozen or used from a previous meal)

Week 1:
Creamy Pasta (frozen Meat)
Salsa Chicken (frozen Meat) Burritos

Week 2:
Spaghetti with Meat Sauce
Chicken Tortilla Casserole (x2)
Pizza Buns

Week 3:
Pizza Rolls Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese
Crock Pot Chicken Salsa (x3)
Cheesy Broccoli, Rice & Chicken
Tamale Pie
Spaghetti & Meat Balls

Week 4:
Chili (x2)
Chicken Pot Pie (x2)
Taco Casserole (left over meat & beans from Chili)
Oven Fried Chimichangas (using Chicken Salsa)

Week 5:
Chicken Tortilla Casserole
Chicken & Rice Casserole (x 2)
Chicken Pot Pie
Spaghetti & Meat Sauce

Going into October I should start with just 1 dinner of Chicken & Rice which will be perfect. My goal is to use up everything each month to keep the freezer fresh & not too full!
